With so many ales out on the market, RCI Brewing definitely needed to package their product in something striking that would catch the consumers eye. I first explored the sideshow posters and circus typography, but the 'freak' direction didn't feel right. When playing with this project, I came across a more simplistic design that was not only bold, but also shows the women to be more attractive than usually depicted. With the palette, I wanted to convey the bright feel of summer with a contrasting background that hints at the darker sideshow theme.
